'Stranger' on top of Iran's streaming chart

Award-winning Iranian film 'Stranger' sets new streaming record on VOD platforms in Iran. 

According to recent media reports, the highly anticipated film 'Stranger', directed by Mohammad Hossein Latifi and produced by Hamed Anqa, broke records for online viewing on Iranian VOD platforms.

The movie narrates the story of Martyr Mohammad Borujerdi, showcasing his bravery in Kordestan province. In an unprecedented achievement, the film generated nearly 1.3 billion rials in sales within the first 24 hours of its streaming, setting a new record for non-comedy movies.

'Stranger' received the prestigious Crystal Simorgh award for Best National Film, with Babak Hamidian giving an outstanding performance in the role of Martyr Boroujerdi.
